This week I have been supporting my ex-husband (who I am now good friends with - we broke up 4.5 years ago) through a really tough time. He also has bipolar and is dealing with a break up, depressive symptoms with bouts of hypomania. He has also had severe SI. I saw him Monday and have been in touch regularly since to check on him. He called his pdoc and is to be admitted to hospital for treatment on Monday. I am taking him to hospital as he has no one else who will do it. It has been stressful but I am happy to help him and really hope the IP stay helps him stabilise.
