I didn't know anything about our finances, but the attorney gets "discovery," and response to interrogatories. Also, we have his bank account records, and everywhere he has ever worked has been subpoenaed for info on deferred comp., etc. You have to be a good project manager to oversee litigation, perhaps regardless of who your attorney is.
