I'm not looking to lose weight. I want to gain some weight actually, but not thru carbs (or empty calories, as you put it). My biggest issue is that I have high cholesterol due to familial hypocholesterolemia, so I can't afford the extra carbs... because they have worsened my cholesterol over the years. We're talking 314 total cholesterol (yikes...)
I'll try your diet suggestion. Maybe smaller, more frequent meals will help. I just want to avoid carbs altogether, yet I crave them so much. I'll probably stick to healthy fats.
I just don't want to overeat...
