I follow a show called Metalocalypse religiously and the season 2 finale ended with the death of my favorite character. I was so distraught with his death I cried and even when season three came in the mail I wasn't ready to move on. I mourned his death for over a month, I was just so upset. Well, I finally got the courage to see what happens to the other characters and how they'd move on with his death. I watched the first episode thinking to myself, "Oh god, this is the end. It's not even that funny anymore, are they completely done with the comedy? How are they gonna pull through?" The characters got put in a really bad situation and it seemed like it'd be the end, but then, what's this? IT'S HIM! HE'S BAAAAAAACK!!!!!! WOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! I literally stood up and started clapping and cheering. I was happy ending the binge watch with only after the first episode. I have to let it sink in that all is right in the world.

Is there a fandom or a book or TV show or movie where you get so attached to the characters that when something happens you just have such a huge exaggerated reaction to it? That's definitely how I felt with my favorite character. I was so heartbroken when he was dead and now I am over the moon that they brought him back. It's just a huge relief that he's back and he's okay, and they left a clue that there's more than just bringing him back and I can't wait to see what happens next. Phew! HE'S BACK!!!!!
