<font color="purple">[b]Hi everyone! This is just a reminder about the 1st chat tonight on Coping with the Holidays.
This first chat will help identify the stressors in your holiday life, and try to track down any negative thinking that leads up to it.
In future Monday night chats the specific issues and coping skills, that you bring to chat tonight, will be addressed more directly.
<font color="green"> The format is a little different from some chats, in that it is a "directed" chat.
It isn't a question-and-answer-type chat, though short questions on-topic are good, but I will be placing statements and questions up for each person to comment on, rather like a group session.
It's a little more "formal" I guess you could say, in that there isn't the banter back and forth. I hope this makes it easier to follow the theme.
So for those of you who feel lost in a big chat, or feel a bit intimidated by all the questions others ask, come try out this format and see if it works for you.
