Hi -Asphyxia-
Firstly...........MAJOR kudos to you for telling your sister!!!!!

I know it
can not have been "easy", so
massive respect!!!!!
And...........NO-ONE is responsible for the actions of an abuser other than that abuser
themselves.........NO-ONE!!!
I'd say that you're maybe looking at the reporting side of it from what "makes sense" now.......and particularly to
some people who haven't been abused.....but you/we know that abuse isn't like that, right??!!

The abuse and
the abuser often takes away/
robs that power of speech, leaves you mute, "seperates you", leaves you feeling at fault (although you aren't!!), makes you feel like it belongs to you too, makes you feel "less than", makes you feel you'd be judged or disbelieved...........for
lots of different reasons it can leave you completely helpless/powerless in saying
anything to
anybody.
And that is a result of the abuse/the abuser,
not you!!! Abuse that you never,
ever deserved to happen to you!!!
So........a little more self-compassion, hey??

I'm positive you have been through
more than enough, without taking on the responsibility, responsibility you DO NOT deserve, for any actions of someone who would have already hurt you so much

You deserve compassion, kindness and caring..........now you'll find plenty of that on here, but
please try to find some of that in yourself for yourself as well.........you deserve that
