Thanks (((((((((((( _Sky ))))))))))))))
You made me giggle, because all the questions out of my mouth to my daughter were, how did this happen? Did your foot slip? Did your foot get caught in your pajama bottom? Was the cat on the stairs? Were you lightheaded, not quite awake?

She wanted me to stop with the 20 questions hehehe.
What we figured out was that she just took a misstep, misjudged where the step was. She was barefoot the carpeting on the stairs is good....doesn't move and is not slippery or worn. It's an old old house and the stairwell is too narrow for a hand rail, but the way the wall is built, there is plenty of room to put your hand on the shelf like area going up the stairs (don't know how to explain it).
As far as the surgeon goes....yeah...I know he's in that kind of work where he's awaken at all hours of the night. He is a great guy and a wonderful surgeon and doctor. Awesome bedside manner too. But you know me, I feel badly when people are roused out of bed to attend to an emergency. It's just my make up. Believe me though, I don't feel so badly that I wouldn't have brought her to the ER

Her health definitely comes first!
