PsychCentral is a great place to get information as well as support for mental health issues. The more you post, & reply to other members’ posts, the more a part of the community you will become. Plus there are social groups you can join & chat rooms where you’ll be able to connect with other PC members in real time (once your first 5 posts have been reviewed & approved.) Lots of great stuff! So please keep posting!

Basically you just go to the particular forum you want to post in. (Given your topic, perhaps the Health Support forum would be appropriate):

Then, when the page comes up on your screen, you should see a capsule shaped icon on the the left side of the screen that says: "New Thread". (On my laptop, it comes up just below the middle of the screen on the left.) Click on that & you should be able to take it from there.
