It is not my birthday yet, but I've heard this being talked about from other people and it just made me think about it as well. Does anyone else hate the attention they get on their birthday? I do, as weird as it sounds. Like, if they just wish me a happy birthday, that is fine, but they don't even have to do that. But I really hate it when people make a big deal out of it.
To me, it is just another day. Just the anniversary of when I was born, so I don't see what the big deal is anymore. I no longer have it listed on Facebook because I got tired of Facebook telling people to write happy birthday on my timeline. I know some people like it, which is fine. But I don't. I don't like it when people buy me gifts or sing as well. I wish they would just carry on with their day like any other day. Anyone else hate it when people make a bigger deal out of it than necessary? I just never liked it and never really understood what the big deal was about birthdays, even when I was younger.
