I do yoga for relaxation. The long stretching really helps loosen the muscles. It makes you more aware of your entire body too. Then you can kind of feel where the pain is really coming from. Like if my neck hurts, sometimes it because I am clenching my jaw, or sometimes its because my upper back is killing me from sleep or something. I have this app that helps me, I'm a beginner...Yoga Studio by Gaiam Inc.
