Clonidine is a high blood pressure med. It was given to me as a fast acting, anti-anxiety.

That stupid pill ruined my whole day. It made me dreadfully sleepy, and I felt a little sick. I had to go to a friends house to sleep for several hours because I couldn't even make it back home. I felt dizzy and light headed and confused.

Sure, lots of my meds for a few health problems say the usual "may cause drowsiness, dizziness, do not operate machinery, blah blah blah" crap on them. How many of them actually make me dizzy and confused? ZERO!

The stupid psych that prescribed it to me neglected to mention it's also listed as a SEDATIVE. I found out after the fact.

If something is given to help with the symptoms of anxiety........ I'm sorry, but I'd rather deal with the emotions than be anesthetized for 5 hours.
