It was fun. I was introduced to the use of gravers on a tiny watchmaker's lathe. The technique is similar to woodturning but with metal. It allows one to machine very small parts that would be very difficult to make while using the tool post. Of course it requires a lot of practice. I struggled to make the workpiece cylindrical.
