Tara, good on ya for cooking! Naynay99, good on ya for shopping. Having a stocked kitchen is a good feeling. I know what you mean about 'starting over... again.' But what can we do? If we keep trying at least there is the chance that something will change. If we don't try at all, it surely NEVER will.

I got weepy tonight after i lost two online Scrabble games. I've worked really hard on competitive Scrabble and it hasn't really paid off. I'm willing to do the work, i just don't have the talent. It's upsetting how talent is shared out so unfairly. I rarely cry.

But then i got up and KILLED IT in my walking video! I so enjoyed it! I added arm movements to make it more intense. I did aerobics all thru my 20s and even taught it briefly so i know all the moves. It felt good. I sweated lots. Moving 218 pounds takes a lot of energy, i guess. I look forward to doing more advanced videos but this was a great one to start with.

It's three hours til bedtime at 2:00am and i am on plan with my food journalling. Just an apple and cherry tomatoes left to go. I'm real pleased with myself! Yay dieting! Yay exercising!

Naynay, i guess we cross-posted. If you're happy with going to the gym 3x a week i wish you all the best. I know that you plan to swim so you need a pool. But have you considered doing something at home? I've found that getting organized and getting to the gym is half the workout and can be quite frustrating. I'm having good luck with doing something at home, tho i have just started this week. Just something to think about and i'm with you whatever you decide!
