I have been in your situation. It's hard. I would write out a strict routine for myself during this time. I would fill the whole day and keep separate checklists. All that crazy organization helps a lot during mania and hypomania, it helps me stay focused on the present. It's hard to stick to any routine while depressed. During that time Instead of a routine, I give myself an easy checklist. Sometimes this includes just taking a shower. This makes me get something done during the day.
