Sorry your son is struggling so much! It's definitely a very difficult situation.

Do you think once a month is adequate enough for your son? You said that he saw maternity T once a week, and you mentioned that he has anxiety, etc. issues that need to be addressed. So I'm wondering if this new T could help out if she saw him more frequently, especially since you said, "He has a T but I feel like he doesn't have a T".

The other thing is: new T hasn't gotten to know either of your children well enough, and I don't think she'll really get to know them if she sees them once a month. Will they be comfortable opening up to someone they just met? (IDK. Just a random thought of mine.)

I don't know if you're able to have him see new T more often or not, but I think him seeing new T more often could be very useful for both you *and* your son in the long run. Then maybe new T could have some ideas for you while you wait for maternity T to come back.
