I don't know if this is similar. But back when I was working I would sometimes dream about work situations... not necessarily things that actually happened... but dreams where the subject-matter was related to the work I did, if that makes any sense. Sometimes I would wake up feeling as though I had already put in a day's work & shouldn't have to get up & actually go to work that day. Also, for years after I stopped working, & even sometimes still, I will have work-related dreams. Thankfully, the more years away from having been employed I get, the fewer of these sorts of dreams I seem to have.
