Oh, I liked the article because it showed then and now and one could really "see" the changes. Funny how we "view" things differently. It's always been that way though I guess; I'm still trying to figure out what my parents and grandparents did for "fun" when they were children. I think my stepmother was downright deprived or depraved, can't tell which :-) She told me the story of how she and her cousin thought it was great fun to take and hide pickles (!!!) under their pillows (!!!!!!!!!) and eat them at night after everyone had gone to bed as a treat.
