I, too, am in that situation. I've been in therapy for three months. I had suppressed the memories for years, in my case, so bringing them up in therapy has brought on intense flashbacks and fear. Last week I told my psychiatrist that therapy is making me feel WORSE. She said it may take awhile to feel better. Has your therapist started teaching you some coping skills? Mine has taught me diaphragmatic breathing and visualization. You may want to insist on coping skills right away...there is no need to leave you in any more pain than you already have.
