As far as my own conscious thoughts, decisions and actions are concerned, I wish I would have at least tried to be closer to my grandfather in order to seek and to benefit from his well-seasoned experience, wisdom and advice in life. I remember one of my brothers and I at least once suggesting to him that he (leave us alone and) go take a nap, and today I regret that kind of foolish rejection of him.
