I get lonely quite a bit too,it is hard.I consider myself lucky because I do visit my mum and she is good company and also once a month I spend a whole day with my niece who is at university, she is only 18.Apart from them I never see anyone,I don't know anyone.
I am supposed to be going to a meet up this Saturday where I may meet new people it is an assemble for writers to talk about their hobby.I want to go and it be a way to make new friends I hope it works out well and I don't back out last minute which is what usually happens with me.

I hope you can find ways to feel less lonely during the week what about inviting work colleagues to join you for lunch or coffee?Suicidal thought are tough to handle, ask yourself if being alone and isolated is what is causing those thoughts and then reach out for help, isolation is an illusion and it can make you feel your situation has no solution but death but it isn't real, you need to talk about how you are feeling and what your situation is even if with a doctor.

Try and find support, there are befriending groups in my area for the elderly or maybe go join the book club at the library etc

Even just go to a coffee shop or a bar for a drink just being surrounded by people even if they are strangers helps me feel less isolated!
Thanks for this!
