I have a xanax prescription but it puts me to sleep, even a half pill of the lowest dose. (But when I am asleep, I am not anxious, so I guess it is working!) I hope this med provides you with relief from your anxiety. Anxiety and depression are so intertwined, that sometimes helping one can help with the other.
