When did you tell your kids about your bipolar?
I just spent nine days inpatient.
My daughter told her teachers at school that I was in the hospital because I smoke (cigarettes) too much, which obviously was not the case. She's five.
I was thinking about having the talk with her tomorrow and explaining things in a kid friendly way. She's very mature for her age, but obviously doesn't understand what's wrong with me.
