The obvious middle ground for me (and what some of the science seems to say) is the pot should be legalized nationwide for medical purposes. It is riduculous that it is classified as a Schedule 1 drug which says it is more dangerous than Schedule 2 drugs like Percocet. For me, Percocet is much more addictive than pot. Also, I think alcohol causes a lot more bad behavior than pot. People are just "nicer" on pot but occassionally, people can get abusive when they are drunk. Don't you just hate it when people are abusive?
