I had a emotionally abusive therapist, that I saw for 4 years. She was constantly criticizing my lifestyle. She criticized the way I dressed, the way I talk (I have a speech impediment.) she did not like anything I bought, and would ask weird questions like if I needed money, would I sell my DVD collection, or my book collection, in the 4 years I saw her, she refused to tell me my diagnosis, which I later found out was illegal.

My dad died in 2014. In February 2015, I blew up at her, and I looked her up on google, and found some personal information. She abruptly stopped seeing me and did not switch me to another therapist. She basically left me on my own. A combination of things including my job, my PMDD, my SAD, my dad dying and my doctor took me off my celexa, landed me in the psychiatric hospital in March 2015 for the first time in over 5 years. With no help from my old therapist, I immediately got a new therapist who I have seen ever since and have had no problems

My psychiatrist and the new therapist were very angry at the old one. My psychiatrist told me that I ended up in the hospital basically because she stopped seeing me soon after my dad died, and that she should of transferee me to someone else instead of just leaving me to deal with things on my own. I had a closure meeting with both the old and the new therapist. The old one denied everything, but people still believed me.

2 years later, people that work at the center I go to for therapy and groups, are still confused why I have had no issues with my current therapist. I do believe that they think the old one was the problem. The old therapist no longer works at the building. I secretly like to think she never recovered from the backlash she got from the incident with me. My mom says she probably got in trouble from it.

I'm still kind of messed up by it even 2 years later. I finally had enough and tonight I wrote a negative review of her at her current job. Which is the same type of job as the old one. I am worried I will Face legal trouble if she ever reads it. Especially since I had to google her again in order to find out where she worked. Can I get into trouble? Don't I have some kind of right like freedom of speech? Also I don't know if they can do anything. I have heard that places can't change or delete reviews. They can not recommend them so it might not even show up in the correct place. I don't want to delete it. She really messed me up. I used my nickname on Yelp too. So even though she would know who wrote it, I don't think she can prove who wrote it.

Does anyone know what could or will happen? I also know she might not even see it. Someone wrote a really nasty review about my boss, and she never knew.
