I don't think it's unusual for 13 month old babies to wake up several times during the night. I'm not a parent, but my sister and brother are, and they say all the time how tiring taking care of babies is, especially with the sleepless nights. I remember my sister was synchronizing her sleep with her babies to get as much sleep as she possibly could.
