I do a Push Pull Shoulders Legs routine 4 days on 1 day off. I also do cardio for 1hr a day every day and make use of the sauna 5 days a week for 20 minute sessions each.

Barring any physiological issues, it's just a matter of calories in and calories out.

Just enter "calorie calculator" in google and you should be shown a link that has the calculator where you enter your age/height/weight/exericse.

As far as exercise goes just be consistent with whatever you enjoy doing. If it's running, cycling, weight lifting, or whatever you need to adhere to a specific regimen in order to get your body functioning at a particular rate to change your metabolism. Check out Starting Strength or a PPL routine if you like lifting.

With diet it helps if you meal plan and cook your meals for the week so you don't have an excuse to eat when you're out somewhere. I'm a fan of eating 5-6 meals a day... check out meal prep websites.
