I'm not use to receiving support from anyone. A lot of abuse growing up, no supports etc. I'm use to people talking down to me or judging.
There is a guy I talk to online, email communication for a couple of years. I haven't met him. We live at least thousand miles apart. Our communication is not every week. Anyways I've been feeling terrible lately like I may break down.i endured something tragic.
He knows some of my background and the way others have treated me. Although I don't tend to focus on that during our emails. When we started communicating he offered a listening ear. I never did use his offer until today.
Today I emailed and said sorry to bother you, I need a listening ear. I'm on the verge of crying.
He responded few hours later..Oh my goodness Monarch! I'm all ears. Send a email if it helps get it out. And as aside, please understand you are not bothering me..
I emailed him. He responded a few hours later with this..
I cannot imagine just how horrible an experience that must have been. It's totally understandable that you are feeling this way . Remember always that you have the strength and courage to heal
I haven't responded to his reply. Does it sound like his reply is supportive or?
