Well, I got back from the date not too long ago and I think it went well. We didn't do anything to convoluted or complicated, just a stroll around Target. Then we sat down in the little café inside for a bite to eat. He paid for my soda and pizza. Then we walked around some more and he waited outside with me while we waited for my mother to pick me up. He even stayed to say hello to her when she drove up.

We talked about a lot of stuff. Mostly what we wanted out of the relationship, our expectations, a bit about our pasts, and found out we have a surprisingly large amount in common. He even used to watch Bob Ross's "The Joy of Painting" when he was in Kindergarten, same as me.

It all seems good, and my mom says he seems nice enough. It's almost like it's too good to be true. Is there such a thing?
