Since the dawn of time, I have longed for a post such as this. Years spent twiddling my thumbs, scratching my bum, and burping after a big meal of beans and mash, but nobody ever stepped forward to say what needed to be said.
Until now. You took under your wings this great responsibility; this strength you found within to share with the rest of humanity this topic of what has become known as: gaming
But on a sensible, non-ridiculous note, I used to game somewhat religiously, but gradually lost interest. Now, code is my game, with real rewards and best of all? It's never ending.

I always longed for a game with epic longevity, and now I have it. If I get bored of one "game", there is but another awaiting my greedy brain.
That being said, I recently-ish installed Steam again, installed Hero Siege, and gave it a whirl. As I'm on Linux (I don't use/have Windows anymore) gaming isn't as much a thing as it is on Windows.
Granted, Linux can be and still often is used for gaming (for example, SteamOS, even though it kinda flopped) it's not quite as reliable and the selection isn't quite as vast. Still, I don't really bother with "AAA" games anymore, so I just stick to the lil indie ones, because I find they often have more "character", these days. Still, I load a game up maybe once a week for a few minutes. xD A stark difference from my old days of pulling successive all-nighters.
Anywho, I shall bid y'all farewell! Happy gaming.
