There isn't much IOP available around here. They tried to move her to one before she was discharged but insurance would not approve it. She sees her pdoc as needed (every 4 to 6 weeks right now) and her therapist weekly. I haven't been able to get her to take part in any other out patient programs.

If she wants to try for disability, I support that, but I am concerned that medical services under medicaid is going to take a big hit over the next 4 to 8 years. Time will tell I guess. In the meantime I'm doing what I can to help her recover. It is my hope that disability won't be necessary and that by the time she's 26 she will be able to work at a job that provides insurance. I know she wants that too.
