Spiritual dreaming, lucid dreaming and othern mumbo-jombo are all based on ignorance about the real nature of the subconscious. It does not give a jot about what's going to happen tomorrow or any de-ja-vou.
Drugs, medicines and the state of your health has an impact on how you dream. Especially regarding violence or vividness.
The dreaming content, violence, vividity, strangeness and other unusual features closely follow your state of health and general well being during sleep.
These are all opinions, not fact.

Jnmiller, I have occasionally had what could be called 'psychic dreams.' Dreamt of a place that I'd never been to before the dream, then ended up having some kind of significant life event happen in the place.

So, I do believe that there are all kinds of dreams, including psychic ones, but I kind of choose not to study my dreams too much because frankly, I don't want to have psychic dreams...they freak me out.
