(((girlinterruptedbee))),

Unfortunately in human nature stigmatizing does happen. A lot of the people I have come across in this forum that struggle have been challenged in some way by being stigmatized. I am saying this to you because you are really not alone in the scheme of things in that for some reason others decided things about you that "hurt". One doesn't have to be a foster child to feel like they are either. A lot of individuals suffer with feeling they somehow did not deserve love because they struggled to get loved. This is something that is SO misunderstood because in reality everyone deserves to be loved, and often when they are not loved, it's the inadequacy of others not knowing "how" rather than an individual genuinely not deserving it or lack of love being their fault.

There are many people that "hurt" like you do even when they grew up in a family with parents. Often they suffer the same challenges because their home life was so toxic and they did not get loved and nurtured the way the needed it. There are many individuals who have had to distance from their families and go no contact because it "hurts' them when they come in contact. So, in this "know" that you are not alone in feeling what you feel even though you may think you are alone.
