Dreams mean a lot of different things to me. Often, they are just a curiosity. Sometimes they are blatant wish fulfillment. And other times I wake up in a panic or upset by some new, imagined but vivid traumatic event.
I'm sorry that this dream was disturbing and I hope calling your Mom helps (it's a great idea).
