That list cuts like a knife.

I'm so sorry D. In my brief time here I've seen many sides of you and I think you are one of the most amazing people I've ever met. And because of that there's one phrase I hope that one day you can take off that list, "You are beautiful." Because you are. Physically, emotionally, mentally. And you deserve to take pride in that. You deserve to love yourself. But most of all, you deserve to hear that phrase uttered by someone who truly loves you and be able to take the compliment.

I'm a hypocrite because that phrase, though never spoken by my abusers, would be on my list too.

So I hope maybe we can all get to that place one day and take the compliment, and the love, when we receive it.
