Hello. I hope you don't mind me posting here. My son was diagnosed with level 1 autism (from my understanding he would have been diagnosed with Aspergers if he had been diagnosed younger) a couple of years ago. My son is almost 12 and has started puberty and it has been rough for him. In September he will also be starting Jr High. A lot of changes for him, well he has some excitement about Jr High I can also see that he is afraid. Any ideas on how to help the transition? What do you wish would have been different for you at this age? Any help, suggestions, etc greatly appreciated.
