I can't balance anymore, either. Maybe it isn't the meds, though. I'm aging -- 75 years old at the end of this month. I've had this balance problem for years, but it's worse now. I tried to ride a bicycle and fell off. I was a good bicyist till about 18 years ago, but back then, I'd moved to a busy-traffic city, and was so afrid to ride I sold my bike. Bought another one about a year ago, and when I fell off, I sold it back to the store where I got it. (I also have a distance problem, in a small but significant way, which I've written about below). For 15 years I've had grab bars all over the bathroom. Just got a new grab bar this month. Could not wash my hair or stand up in the shower, so got a sliding bench with a shower hose. Was afraid I'd fall off the toilet, so got a portable stand-seat with arms. As for distance, for about 20 years, since I started meds, I have to pay huge attention to where reach in the kitchen. I carefully watch my hand as I pick something up, or put something down. If I put something on the drainboard, I have to pay attention, or I will set on the edge and it will fall off the drainboard and break.
