Sorry for the mispellings, not on a computer and typing from an iPod. I had to see a pyschatrist so I could say how the medicene for depression I'm on is going. The person I normally see he was not there so I had to see this other psychatrist instead. My age is 16+ and in my opinion this woman was way out of line, when I got into her office she said "hey my name is Victoria. Do you have any children?" I said "excuse me? I'm 16+ of course I don't and I'm not even a straight person I don't have children, I don't like children." Then she said "Ok... do you work?" I said "I'd prefer not to answer questions like that, I want to only answer questions regarding why I am here and about my depression." She said "your parents drop you off her, that must be embarrassing." She let out a chuckle. I said "excuse me? There is no need to be rude." She said "well do you work?" I said "not yet." She said "why not you're 16+? " i said "because I don't have transportation." She said "wow... You don't drive?" I said "no my parents have not taught me" we don't have areas you can walk on. We live off a highway and there are no bike areas(can't ride on highway) and no places to walk on it. she said "why?" I said "no idea actually when i ask
them they say no usually." She said "then what is the point of your life really? why are you here in my office?" i said " man, that is enough! I have to go." I walked out because she refused to even ask me what my normal psychatrist does, refused to check my medicene like he does and when i politiely asked her to please stop asking those questions and to stick on topic she wouldn't. When i got home I looked her up she only has a 1.5 star review rating made me feel a bit better knowing i was not the only one she treated this way her reviews say similiar things from others. Do you think she was out of line? Have you ever dealt with a psychatrist like this before?
