Please talk with your pdoc about reducing the amount of Seroquel. Doing it slowly is a good idea allowing your brain to adjust and making sure that you are able to stay well.
Pill cutters are a great idea for many medications.
Recently my pharmacy changed the generic brand of Seroquel that I was taking. The previous pill was scored and still needed the pill cutter to break it. When the pill was changed it was not scored. The pill cutter ended up crushing the pill so it was hard to get an accurate dose.
Long story short - you may find it easier adjusting the dose (with a pill cutter) when the Seroquel is scored.
