I'm sorry you're struggling so much with this, and "I could have done more......" can sometimes be unavoidable even if you have done everything you possibly could........what really matters is how you felt about her though, and it's very clear on here how important she was to you, so I'm guessing there was a very, very, very good chance that she knew that too
And caring about someone that much is priceless, you already gave her something that was invaluable...........sometimes that is the best any of us can do...........and sometimes that is the most important thing we can do for someone, regardless of anything else
