I have a friend who is an astronomer and use to go to elementary schools to referee their science fairs. She's short and looked very young and when trying to find the right people/room, etc. the teachers and administrators would mistake her for a child.

I'd get indignant; "Excuse me, but what's with your tone of voice? I'm 40 years old."
