I think it is possible to be infatuated, the chemical precursor to love, with a couple people at the same time but getting to where you know a person well enough to love them takes time and effort and no one can be two places at once that way. Were it possible, I wouldn't find it desirable as the two people are going to jealous of one another, etc.
