Just for argument sake, would you tell me why not?
reason being, I spent time doing the work. The others? They did not spent time doing their research. And now they are reaping the benefits of my work.
I get that I'm mad at myself for being too simple-minded (as in just turning in my work early and didn't think much about using my ideas as template for their work).

I went to graduate school as an older adult in a very difficult 3 year program. Stuff like this happened and would stress me out. Unfair crap. Sometimes school politics. So much stuff. It took me until my final year to start letting that stuff go. Things happened that were unfair but I focused more on the good in my experience. If you are learning that is all that matters. When I realized that --- everything just got...easier...and more enjoyable. Oddly, too, I got better grades almost effortlessly. So I would say for all your schooling now and in the future if you can let things go it will be easier and more enjoyable for you. Oh, and about the people who just "get by" and don't do the work. They are the loser because they aren't learning anything. They are wasting time and kind of just being stupid losers. You are on another level. So learn to not associate with them. Even if they steal your work, get the grade...whatever...they are still losing out. But you aren't. You're learning. You are earning your education. You are the winner, here. Okay? Best of luck.
