I had the same problem, kinda still do. I am in college now. I had to withdraw from the 4 year university u was attending 3 times, due to depression and suicidal ideation and attempts. I am now at a 2 year college, and taking my last class for my Associate's degree. I stated at the University in 2001, and I am just now getting a degree.

All I can say, really, is keep fighting. There are resources available that can help with stuff like this, at least at the higher education level.

I had days when I didn't feel like going to class, where it was nearly impossible to even get out of bed. Professors do understand, to some extent. Depression is not as uncommon as some other mental illnesses, and people are more able to accept and understand what it does to us.

Just keep in contact with you professionals, and keep moving forward.
