I had been baking lots of bread, a new obsession, and got the idea in my head that i was going to open a micro bakery from my kitchen. I would replace my kitchen window with a serving hatch, get up at 3am to cook all the bread things etc. I called the local authority to mention my idea and ask about permits and environmental health visits. They sent me lots of forms. I researched serving hatches to see what the cost would be.
Bearing in mind i live in a quiet residential street, my kitchen is pretty small, and my window opens out the side of my house onto my driveway quite a way from the footpath.
As well as that to make more money, then i would get some kind of permit which would let me go and hang around near the railway station with a big basket round my neck selling bread based things. Or maybe even get on the train and sell to commuters as they were travelling.
Apparently you can't do that one
Of course I told lots of people about my foolproof plan.
