~Christina on here has recommended this a few times and I've used it when depressed or anxious about getting something done. Set a timer for fifteen minutes and do the thing you don't want to do for that much time. Then reward yourself for getting it done. When I'm very depressed I will clean for fifteen minutes then reward myself with "sitting around time" for a half hour or so. Then clean or do another chore for fifteen more minutes. You can handle doing fifteen minutes of an unwanted chore.
