Hi,

I am new to this section of the forum. Last July my pdoc put me on Ritalin for suspected ADHD and concentration issue. I have been on 60mg a day and 30 -50mg a day in the last two weeks. I was begging to have an addiction to it, taking more than prescribed and even snorting it.

My pdoc cut me off Ritalin cold turkey as he believes it is worsening, or even causing the Bipolar mixed state I am in. I have read that there can be serious withdrawals. Has anyone had experiences with going cold turkey of stimulants like ritalin? What happened? By the way, I am IP so have support
