Um post what you would say to them here in this thread; wait 5 minutes; read what you just posted; if it seems important after rereading it, go for it? Or draft (but don't send) an email/text, if it still seems worthwhile when you reread it a few minutes later, send it or call them and tell them?

Even if it annoys them, it must make them feel good that you care so much!
