For me, I learned in a group to be as specific as possible with my self care ideas. What movies will I/you watch? What books to read? What music will I listen to? I also tailor it for mood- for instance, the music I listen to when I'm mad is different than when I'm anxious.
Having said that- I generally
-paint my nails
-listen to my playlists
-watch my favorite youtuber
-do yoga videos from a particular website
-go for a run at the path in my neighborhood
-read one of my current books (I'm usually reading 3 at a time or so)
-text one of my best friends
-take a bath with one of those Lush bath bombs (sooo relaxing) or bubbles
-write in my journal
-watch Doctor Who or Friends or any other series I may be currently watching
-cook
