I kind of use a mix of CBT and DBT and talk therapy. My main problem is using positive coping skills when triggered in the day to day. I know the skills to use, some I got from DBT, some I've used for years (such as forums and reading and getting away from the situation). I just have really hard time using them when it counts, and that is mainly what I am working on with my T, but also if there is something pressing, we talk about it before doing anything else.
