Hooray!
I posted a while back about how I was in a program called "Youth Job Connect". You attend 60 hours worth of workshops (that you are paid for attending), and afterwards your job profile is sent to job developers and you are matched with something that suits your qualifications and individual needs. I finished the program and was waiting for a while...got an interview and I start on Monday!
It is a part-time job (Monday, Wednesday and Friday shifts that are 5 hours long), which is perfect for me. I will be working in stocking and price integrity at Canadian Tire.

Looking forward to getting back into the work force. I am very grateful for being on disability but it feels SO much better to receive money that I feel like I worked hard for.
Crossing my fingers that it goes well, I am both excited and nervous!
